Fensport Celica sets new Drag Record time of 9.74@149 mph

Our Fensport Celica has set a new drag record at Ten of the Best 9, an incredible 9.74 seconds to cross the finish line of the quarter mile at 149 mph :)

The car was modified from its normal circuit/sprint spec to include a larger Billet type GT35 turbcharger and was also using a 75 shot of nos to produce around 800bhp.

The new personal best time was set on toyo R888 street legal tyres and was also backed up by a 9.81@146 and a 9.9@147 on the same day.

The fensport Celica qualified in 4th place and finished 2nd overall in the "shootout finals" being pipped to the post by a few thousandths of a second, in what was the closest finish ever!

We also set the 2nd fastest time of the day on the "Top Speed Challenge" recording 181.8 mph at a distance of 1km from a standing start. (292.57km/hr at 1km distance)
